HOW DO YOU CREATE A PLEASANT WAINSCOTING EFFECT?
It is imperative to commence your design on paper. It is recommended
that you use “MM” Paper or equivalent, that possess very fine
“architectural” lines to assist you in your endeavor. Panel Moulding is
usually installed at approximately 1/3 of the distance from the floor
of the total height of the wall. Using your original drawings as a
point of reference, it should provide you with the necessary
perspective to layout and install your Skirting Boards, Panel Mouldings
and Door Panels. Try to keep your designs symmetric. When satisfied
with your sketched layout and perspective, transfer your designs from
the paper upon which they were conceived to the wall with a pencil. Try
to work as much as possible in a symmetric way. |

HOW DO YOU HIDE A GAP BETWEEN YOUR FLOOR COVERING AND THE WALL ?
When installing a wooden or laminated floor, it is recommended that you
leave a 1cm distance in between the floor and the wall. This gap can be
filled with one of the ORAC® LINEA MINI MOULDINGS
(CX.132 and CX.133) or one of the ORAC® SKIRTING BOARDS,
which can be painted the same color as the wall. |
